I am married to Randy Hartwell Jr and we have 5 children. My professional goals are to practice high quality medicine, implement preventative therapies/treatments to help my patients have the best quality of life and to form lasting relationships with my clients. I have a number of furry babies and in my spare time I like to collect cats! I am also very active in church and I love the outdoors. A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast. Proverbs 12:10

Mitchell Miles
Veterinary Technician
I began working for Jonesboro Animal Clinic November 2017. I have been in the veterinary field for 4 years. I am the pastor at Vernon Baptist Church in the Vernon community in Jackson parish. I love taking care of animals and helping the family business grow. My family and I love animals, we have so many “pets” at my house that is it takes 30 minutes every morning and evening to feed them all. I enjoy shooting archery and going to livestock shows. My main goal is to preach the gospel and follow God’s will in my life.
1 Peter 5:7 says cast all your cares upon Him(Jesus) for He cares for you(men). Jesus does care about everyone. He proved it! He died on the cross at calvary for mine and your sins. Then 3 days later He rose from the dead. He loves us that much. So take your problems to Him- He really does love you-just for who you are!

Melinda Miles
Practice Manager
I started working for Jonesboro Animal Clinic July 2020. I retired after 20 years from Dodson High School as an Ag Teacher/Coach. I decided to spend my retirement days at the family business. My goal is to be the best practice manager in Louisiana and build relationships with our customers. When I’m not being the best practice manager I enjoy spending time with Jenny, my donkey, she is old and stubborn like me. I also enjoy spending time with my kids, grandkids and going to livestock shows. God has blessed me above and beyond anything I could ever imagine. I love being with my family and friends. I love to help others. I miss my kids at school but I still have the privilege to take some to livestock shows.
Philippians 4:13 is my motto: I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
