Dr. Marion Sewell – Veterinarian and Owner
Dr. Marion Sewell is originally from upstate New York. After four years in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation ordnanceman, Dr. Sewell moved to Louisiana where she graduated Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech University. Dr. Sewell earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation she relocated to Ruston, Louisiana where she has been practicing at Ruston Animal Clinic since that time. In January 2017 Dr. Sewell purchased JAC and looks forward to providing exemplary care to the pets of Jonesboro and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Miranda Clark-Baker
Dr. Miranda Baker is originally from Saint Joseph, Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate training at Louisiana Tech University in 2012. She earned her veterinary degree from Saint George’s University in 2017. She and her husband are very happy to be back in Ruston.
Dr. Kacey Johnson
Kacey Johnson Bio: Dr. Johnson grew up on her family’s farm in Dodson, LA where they raised cattle, horses, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. She attended Dodson High School and graduated valedictorian in 2007. Dr. Johnson then attended Louisiana Tech University from 2007-2010 where she earned her bachelors degree in animal science with a concentration in preveterinary medicine. She was accepted into the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She completed 4 years of veterinary school with a special interest in mixed animal medicine and graduated from LSU in May 2014.
After graduation, Dr. Johnson and her husband, Lee, moved back to their hometown of Dodson, LA. Dr. Johnson joined the Jonesboro Animal Clinic team as an associate veterinarian in August 2017. She enjoys treating dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, pigs and cattle. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and friends, especially her 2 year old son Reece! She is also actively involved in her local church.
